GAGFAH: Largest Ever German Real Estate Block Deal

We have just run some numbers on the recent GAGFAH share placement, which you might find interesting:
– @ EUR740m it is the largest ever block deal in German RE
– It is the 4th largest RE-ECM transaction in German history; only DtW/GSW merger as well as GAGFAH and LEG IPOs were larger
– German RE share placements already total EUR2.6bn in 2014 (ytd)
– Capital markets paid a to total of EUR6.2bn to German RE private equity investors since 2009
– GAGFAH placement reduces the residential sector’s stock overhang to EUR4bn
