No Decoupling from China
The prevailing global strategy seems to be to diversify away from China also known as „Derisking“. Bucking this trend, German banks have apparently taken a different approach for now, as evidenced by a significant 67% year-on-year increase in their lending to Chinese companies. This surge has pushed their loan commitments to a new high of 7 billion Euro.
